BizInsight Co., Ltd., a total life care company, announced that its overseas long-term medical assistance service, PlDoc Care (Flying Doctors Global Care), is now offering special discounts for group subscribers.
PlDoc Care provides comprehensive healthcare services including reimbursement for actual medical expenses, 24/7 medical consultations, mental health care, and connections to domestic health checkups. The service has recently seen a significant increase in subscriptions from families with children and corporate clients operating overseas branches.
In response to the growing demand, BizInsight has enhanced its operational system to better support multiple users simultaneously. A special group discount is now available for groups of five or more subscribers.
Unlike typical short-term travel insurance, PlDoc Care is tailored for long-term overseas residents such as international students, expatriates, digital nomads, and long-term travelers. It offers reimbursement for medical expenses incurred abroad in countries such as the United States, Europe, and Southeast Asia. Additionally, if follow-up treatment is needed after returning to Korea, users can receive medical support through affiliated domestic hospitals.
One of the service’s key features is 24/7 access to consultations with Korean medical professionals. Subscribers can receive initial assessments of symptoms, medication guidance, and lifestyle advice from professional nurses and doctors. In severe cases or major accidents, emergency medical evacuation services using air transport or air ambulances are also available, enabling patients to return to Korea for treatment.
PlDoc Care also provides mental health support, addressing emotional challenges such as insomnia, depression, and isolation that are common among those living abroad. Subscribers can receive structured psychological counseling from certified mental health professionals.
As a service specifically designed for overseas Koreans, PlDoc Care offers a streamlined sign-up process that can be completed remotely. Users can subscribe easily through an online health questionnaire without the need for complex paperwork. Upon registration, official English-language subscription certificates can also be issued, making it convenient for international students.
A representative from BizInsight stated,
“We are committed to providing practical and ongoing support to alleviate healthcare concerns among overseas residents who face limited access to medical services. Moving forward, we aim to expand our global life care ecosystem by offering flexible solutions tailored to diverse overseas living situations.”
